No Brakes Racing 2008 is comprised of Expert, Sport and Junior racers who participate in a variety of disciplines including Downhill, Mountain Cross, XC, Road, BMX, Dual Slalom, Super-D and Cyclocross. Ranging in ages from 13 - 50+, with a variety of backgrounds and experiences, you'll see No Braker's racing and participating in bike events all across North America, including the Sea Otter Classic, SRC Series, Mountain States Cup and National Racing events. And we are proud to give back to our trails through work events and bike advocacy. Each No Braker brings unique skills and qualities to the team, which has made us what we are today. But we couldn't do this without our sponsors.  NMBS Race, Fontana, CA: The first DH NMBS race saw the No Brakes Team out and having fun. No Brakers Erich Wissinger, Wil White and Patrick Bryce raced the DH placing 7th, 6th and 19th respectively. Way to go guys! And, No Brakes Team Members Laura Drexler, Moses Cruz and Kim Gilchrist were out there to support everyone - our team mates and our sponsors. A great time was had by all and we're looking forward to hitting more of the Nationals now that the season is upon us!
Look for No Brakes Team Members at the upcoming Cal State races, the Mountain States Cup at Angel Fire and our first race in Arizona at Sunrise Ski Resort. 
DH racing is coming to Arizona! The 2008 White Mountain Cup is the first DH race of the year will be June 13 - 15 at Sunrise Ski Resort located near Pinetop, AZ. The race is being put on by our sponsor, Cactus Bikes, so please come out and support the scene. If you can't race (or even if you can), they are looking for volunteers to help out with everything for registration to course marshalls. Welcome to our new Team Members First, meet Renee Delgado. Renee is an advocate for cycling and involved in the bike community. And, she was Team Manager's Seth Dawsons best man at his wedding! We are excited to have Renee on board. And, adding to the free riding, DH crew is Tim Kostner. Tim has dabbled in racing DH and DS so we'll get him out there even more. And despite the fact that a fellow No Braker Team Member (to remain nameless) introduced him to jumping at one of our favorite local hot spots which turned into two shiny plates in his face - Tim is ready to roll! 
There is a trail work day at Globe, AZ the weekend of May 3rd & 4th put on by The Arizona Gravity Riders Organization. We welcome all to help with cleaning up some awesome DH trails. If you are interested in helping, please contact No Brakes Team Member, Michael Yares .
